Tommy Mrazek, President

Tommy Mrazek, President/CEO

Tommy joined Conchemco in February of 2004, bringing with him almost 29 years of chemical distribution experience. He started his career in 1978 with Van Waters & Rogers (now Univar) as a Credit Manager. In 1984, he joined Delta Solvents (now Brenntag) and held various positions including Sales Representative, Sales Manager, and Branch Manager.

Tommy’s first job at Conchemco was Account Manager, then in January of 2005 he was promoted to Sales Manager. In March of 2006, he was promoted to Vice- President of Sales and Marketing. As Vice-President, his leadership directly contributed to Conchemco’s continuing record of growth, achieving a 20% growth in sales in 2006. Based on his exceptional leadership and management skills, Tommy was promoted to President of Conchemco in September of 2006. Tommy acquired Conchemco in October of 2007. He is a 1975 graduate of Texas Tech University with a BBA in Management. He and his wife, Debbie, live in Plano. Tommy enjoys the outdoors. His hobbies include hunting, golf, cooking, and a variety of sports activities.


Jan Sullivan, CEO

Jan Sullivan, Member Board of Directors/Retired

Jan joined Conchemco in 1996 upon the urging of her husband to help him establish office management, policies and procedures. Her vast experience includes 10 years in the oil industry and 25 years in commercial property management. Jan holds the designation of CPM and was the Vice President of Insignia Management Corporation, a national management firm, where she was responsible for 8 million square feet of prime retail property in Texas.

Jan directs all of our office policies and procedures, credit management, and oversees all special projects. Jan is originally from New York City, but relocated to Texas to attend Texas Women’s University making Texas her home. Her hobbies include reading, travel, shopping, and hunting.

Rich Olson, Vice President

Rich Olson, Vice President

Rich Olson joined Conchemco, Ltd. In August 2000. He started his energy career at Koch Industries, Inc. where he spent an impressive 15 years and held a variety of positions. Rich worked with Koch Oil, Chase Pipeline and Koch Refining Company and he also held the position of Distribution Manager for Koch’s southern U.S. refining and trading system. He started Koch’s gasoline blending business, held the title of Western Region Sales Manager, and worked in Petrochemical e-commerce before joining our company. Rich is a 1984 graduate of Kansas State University with a dual degree in Accounting and Management. Rich and his wife, Debbie, reside in Dallas, Texas. Rich’s hobbies include golf, tennis, gardening and travel.

Anna Nguyen, CPA / Treasurer

Anna Nguyen, Treasurer/CFO

Anna joined Conchemco, LTD in January 2003 as an Accountant and now serves as the financial officer of the Board. She is responsible for maintaining the financial records of the company along with the development of procedures necessary for the smooth transition of business transactions from Operations into Accounting. Anna is a 2003 graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas with a BS in Accounting. Anna and her family reside in Plano, TX. She enjoys spending her free time with her family, reading, and traveling.

Steve Martin, Marketing Manager

Steve Martin, Marketing Manager

Steve joined Conchemco in May 2005 and has 25 years in the chemical distribution industry. He previously worked at Delta Solvents and Chemicals, which later became Delta Distributors and ultimately, Brenntag Southwest. Steve held many positions, including, Sales Representative, Sales Manager, Branch Manager, Regional Inorganic Marketing Manager – Specialty Products Manager – Industry Manager and managed the Responsible Distribution and ISO-9000 process. Steve graduated with a BS in Business with a major in Marketing from the University of Texas at Dallas. Steve and his wife Pat live in Highland Village, Texas. Steve enjoys hunting, golfing and traveling.

Gerald Fischer, Sales Associate

Gerald Fischer, Sales Associate

Jerry Fischer graduated from the University of Oregon in 1962 with a BS in Finance. Jerry joined McKesson Chemical in 1962 in Portland where he held a variety of positions including Branch Manager for several locations, Product Group Manager, VP of Marketing and Regional VP. Upon McKesson’s merger with Univar in 1987, Jerry became VP of Marketing for Univar until 1992. From 1992 until 2001 Jerry was VP and part owner of The Reach Group, a trading and distribution company headquartered in New York. Upon the sale of The Reach Group and he began working with Conchemco in 2001 as a sales associate. Jerry is a native of Oregon, lives in Salem and has three sons and a daughter. He enjoys golf and travel in his spare time.

Amber Coulter, Logistics Manager

Amber Coulter, Logistics Manager

Amber joined Conchemco in October 2005 working in Customer Service. Her responsibilities included processing orders and making shipping arrangements for our customers. She quickly learned all aspects of order processing and branched out into tracking inventory and coordinating barge shipments. Along with the new responsibilities came a promotion to Logistics Manager and the responsibility for inventory management and specialization in rail car orders. She also takes the lead in shipments involving regulatory and customs agencies. Amber is a graduate of Kansas State University and enjoys reading, shopping, and running in her spare time.

Jennifer Jimenez, Customer Service

Jennifer Jimenez, Customer Service

Jenn joined Conchemco in November 2005 as the Credit Administrative Assistant and moved to the Customer Service department in May 2006. Her current responsibilities include scheduling & processing orders, maintaining customer, vendor and carrier relationships. As well, she assists the Logistics Manager. Prior to joining Conchemco, Jenn worked with the Frisco Roughriders Minor League Baseball team in which she held positions from their Administrative to Operations departments. Jenn is a graduate of The University of Texas in Dallas with a degree in Business Administration. She enjoys sports, movies, and spending time with her family in her spare time.

Jennifer Carlisle, Sales/Administrative Assistant

Jennifer Carlisle, Executive Assistant

Jennifer joined Conchemco in May 2005 as our Sales/Administrative Assistant. She now holds the title of Executive Assistant. Her responsibilities include support to executive level management, approving payables, tracking railcar demurrage, updating MSDS, and revising Policies and Procedures. She is also the NACD Code Coordinator, actively working to ensure that Conchemco is meeting the environmental, health and safety regulations required in the chemical industry. In her spare time she enjoys reading, painting, traveling and spending time with her family.

Suzanne Ferrell, Accounting Assistant

Suzanne Ferrell, Accounting Assistant

Suzanne joined Conchemco as a temporary Accounting Assistant in January of 2007. She was promoted to full time employment in April 2007. Her responsibilities include but not limited to Accounts Receivable, Invoicing, Collections and assisting with Accounts Payable. She enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her family.

G.L. (Gerry) Sullivan, President

G.L. (Gerry) Sullivan, Founder (Deceased)

Conchemco’s Founder, G.L. (Gerry) Sullivan, passed away August 29, 2006 after a short battle with cancer. He founded Conchemco, Ltd. In July 1990, bringing over 20 years experience in the chemical business to the new company he started at his kitchen table. Gerry left an indelible mark on Conchemco, always emphasizing character and integrity in his relationships with customers and suppliers. These cornerstones of the company continue to guide our business relationships.

Gerry’s career in chemicals actually began while in college when he worked part-time for two different chemical compounding companies as a lab assistant and bookkeeper. After college, Gerry’s first job was in Waco, Texas, as a pharmaceutical representative for Parke-Davis & Company.

Three years later he relocated to Dallas as a sales representative with the IC&S Division of Ashland Chemical Company. Later he was promoted to International Sales and transferred to the corporate office in Dublin, Ohio . In 1973, he resigned this position and moved back to Dallas.

In 1980, Gerry joined Delta Distributors (later purchased by Brenntag). While at Delta, he held several positions, the last of which was Vice President of Corporate Marketing and International Trading.

Gerry was a native of Arkansas and a 1966 graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington.
